El CD Dénia will receive in the coming days the amount of ten thousand euros from the Football Federation of the Valencian Community for the audiovisual rights of Dénia Fútsal, corresponding to the 2016-17 season.
The General Assembly of the Royal Spanish Football Federation approved the distribution of television revenues from the Copa el Rey, Spain Supercup and of the 1% of the Royal Decree 2 / 2018, of 12 of January, of centralized sale of First and Second, destined to the clubs of non-professional competitions. The Federation destines "entirely"the income obtained by the audiovisual rights of the Spain Supercup and Copa del Rey to the development of amateur football.
These revenues amount to 29,6 million and are distributed directly to the clubs of each non-professional category, at the rate of 60.000 euros per Second B Team, 27.500 per Third Team, 6.000 per Junior Honor Division Team, 2.500 per Junior League National and also the clubs of women's football, futsal and other competitions; and in addition to Second B and Third teams that access the Copa del Rey based on the disputed rounds.
The amounts correspond to the distribution of the 2016-17 season and the League has delivered the 1% committed by the Royal Decree. Of course, compared to football, futsal, this cast goes badly because it only receives a few crumbs of the cake.
In a few days, the Territorial Federation itself will be responsible for the distribution. In the case of Dénia Futsal, having campaigned in the Second Division "B", it corresponds to those 10.000 euros.
The Dénia CD what will you do with this money?
The big question that fans will ask themselves when they echo this news is, what will Dénia CD do with this money? From the club itself it was very clear that everything that smelled like futsal did not like it, as it was voted in the extraordinary assembly, it had to be done away with. Now, surely more than one will want to make use of this money, which belongs to last season, in which no one of the current directive had to do with the management carried out.
The management of the 2016-17 season was settled in that same assembly when the board announced to the partners that the exercise ended with a debt in the 1.200 Federation for sanctions. Something that a partner clarified that in the Federation itself there was an endorsement of 1.000 euros from which the federative entity could lay hands on. Which would leave us a debt of 200 euros.
A badly treated category
The Second Division "B" is a category that from the CD Dénia itself has been mistreated. From the beginning, the Dénia Futsal team was left aside, with only one person who never felt backed by his fellow directors. They forgot that it was the highest team in terms of sports competitions. The Second Division "B" is a category that can be assumed with a little effort as demonstrated by its previous managers.
The Dénia Futsal served as a reference for the city at a tourist level, it should not be forgotten that for two years he was a member of the Madrid group, a territory where most tourists usually come from. Now, that Dénia Futsal and the Second Division "B" do not exist anymore, many will remember her, but the reality is that few defended her as she deserved.
