Last Sunday the master team of the Dénia Aquàtic Swimming Club Marines took a good dip again, once again in the Esperanza Lag Pavilion in the city of Elche in a 50-meter pool. Up to there part of the team traveled to swim the third federative control valid for the summer autonomous championship that will take place on June 1 and 2 and whose place the federation has not yet confirmed.
The day began with the men's 4x50 style relays. The team formed by Álvaro de Maria-Tomé, Carlos Marfil, Antonio Albadalejo and Francesc Miralles achieved the first position with a time of 2'18 "33.
Subsequently, Carla Ruiz swam the free 400 in 5'49 "67 and the 200 back in 3'01" 83, being first in its category in the two tests. María Bisquert also swam in the same series the free 400 in 5'55 "92 and the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1'35" 18, being also first in both tests.
Monica Berenguer swam the free 400 in 6'14 "67, being third in its category, and the 50 meters back in 42" 86, being first in this test. Carlos Giménez stopped the clock in 6´17 "70 in the free 400, being in fourth position. In the 50 meters back unfortunately he was disqualified.
Antonio Albaladejo participated in the 200 meters styles in 2´53 "75, being in second place, and the 100m breaststroke in 1´21" 84, being first in this test. Carlos Marfil, who also competed in 200 styles, was first with a time of 2'52 "87, and the butterfly 50 in 29" 18, being in the latter first of its category.
Francesc Miralles swam the free 100m, test of pure and hard speed, stopping the chrono in 1´05 "87, being in first position, and the 100m breaststroke in 1´33" 07, obtaining a second position. Arturo Ruiz swam the free 400m in 6´12 "47 being in second position and the free 100m in 1'20" 48 and obtaining a first place in its category.
Álvaro de María-Tomé opted for one of the toughest tests in the 50 meter pool, the free 1500, being in second place with a great time of 21´43 "73, and the butterfly 50m in 35" 60 remaining in this test in fourth position.
The team returned to training in the pool of the Real Club Nautico de Dénia to prepare the next competition to be held at the 24 in March at the I Naturalswim Trophy in Petrer.
