Bruno Ruiz surprises with his winning recipe of the Creative Cuisine Contest of the Red Prawn in Parma

Bruno Ruiz, the Dianense chef who won the last international contest of Creative Cuisine of the Red Shrimp of Dénia, took his winning recipe to the Italian city of Parma, during the City of Gastronomy Festival commemorating the second anniversary of the incorporation of Parma to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

Dénia attended this event for the second time, invited to showcase its gastronomy and its tourist offer. And as a representative he chose the chef of Aticcook, who together with his assistant Antonio Vásquez, elaborated his dish "Gamba bajo cero", before more than 50 people who were surprised by the technique and simplicity used and praised its flavor and presentation.

The production of the dish was narrated by the journalist Nicola Prudente "Tinto", a famous Italian communicator who presents on the Italian public broadcaster RAI the radio and electronic food and wine program Decanter, on the air for more than 15 years.

Throughout the weekend, Parma has celebrated this festival with dozens of events throughout the city. An appointment in which there was time for the tourist promotion of Dénia, where contacts were maintained with professionals and leaflets were distributed to promote the city and documentation on the project linked to the UNESCO Network of Gastronomy.

The Dianense delegation was made up of the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, the municipal technique of Tourism, Pepa Cardona, and the director of the Office of Innovation and Creativity, Floren Terrades.
