Brigade DD: You can not do anything?

November 06 from 2012 - 00: 00

our mail info@denia.com remains open to the brigade send us your complaints. The last we have received the signed Alfredo, and talks about the main commercial artery of the city: Calle Marques de Campo.

"Strolling along Campos Street is increasingly discouraging. It is a pity that many stores are closed and with the" For rent / sale "sign on the most important street in Dénia. As I understand it, the rentals of these premises cost a fortune, their prices have not gone down with the crisis.

I wonder if the City Council can not approve any standard by which the owners of the premises can not be abused with those prices. I sincerely believe that dynamize much the image of the street Campos.

The times we live in are not the good times of yesteryear. Now it costs a lot to spend money (the client) and therefore much to earn it (the entrepreneur). It would not hurt the lessors to think about it, they can help (if they want) to generate employment and improve the image of the city if they do not "rise to the vine" with those prices so unattainable. To Dianense .: As I have already told you, oddly enough, Campos street has ceased to be the commercial thing that it used to be, due to the fact that between banks and restaurants, (which seems to be able to pay those rents) and access increasingly difficult by car (in summer until September 30, they close the street at 3) it has ceased to be profitable for shops. There are some points, in which there is circulation of cars and accesses, that people will always see you in the shop window (if it is a store you want to set up, of course). If it is a restaurant, what you want to set up, well it can be, but you know… .. surely the prices won't drop… ..because the owners think that with one place they have two: theirs and everyone's in Denia: the sidewalks and the driveway to invade it with tables and chairs.

I totally agree, in our case took several months looking for a place to open a business and it has been impossible for us to do on the street fields, exorbitant prices for small local and some reform, it is clear that street courses attracts many people during the summer months, but the year has 12 months and those prices winter comes and it is impossible to keep paying on time when I estamos.Creo that most owners of these premises should see that people want to work for a living, no work to pay rent at luxury prices, as noted that these owners are not affected by the crisis, if it were the prices would be others.

I agree, the first thing is that fellow citizens buy in the stores of our city, in addition to saving gasoline, we may get some surprise in terms of prices (the saint from farther away does not do more miracles). The price of the rentals, It cannot be regulated in a free market ... For the same reason (owners who prefer to have the premises closed before renting it) there is also Calle la Via, which if it gives a great penalty, there are falling even the canopies of the roofs of the arcades ..., before lowering the prices. Another issue is that access to the center is making it increasingly difficult, which comes in handy for bars and cafes, with its thousands of chairs, but perhaps for a store it is not so commercial ... and some people rent thinking that they will sell a lot, and then the reality is different ... ..

The premises are not closed because the rent is high, there is everything, and not only in the Campos Street. Locals and businesses are closed because no one enters to buy in stores, and that does ruin business. The first thing to encourage is the local purchase, encourage the consumer and then you will see how all the stores reopen. If you feel embarrassed to walk down Campos Street, take a walk along the Paseo del Saladar and you will see what desolation is.

  5. John says:

100% agree. The stores are empty while the owners, who appear to be mostly lawyers, ask for exorbitant prices. These greedy people are asking more than 4000 euros a month for the smallest of shops. Some of them are asking for deposits of more than 50.000 euros. On what planet do they live? Good friends have opened a great veterinary practice near the center of Valencia, at a fraction of the cost of the premises in Denia, let's be honest it's a small coastal town. It is not a city that is not by name, it is not a large commercial center, it is not a center of high finance or a magnet for foreign investment - it is a coastal city that is almost totally dependent on tourism and the money that foreign visitors and residents spend.
These landowners, for some strange reason, would prefer that their premises remain empty than to reduce their prices to a realistic market level and have a stable monthly income.

  6. another Dianense says:

Media Calle Campos has an owner ... and it belongs to a very wealthy family from Denia that only thinks about making money and more money, which Mr. Burns is ...
With this bloody crisis, the rich are richer and the poor poorer, unfortunately.

  7. Isabel says:

the truth is that I totally agree. It also hurts me a lot to see those places closed, with what that implies. I think we all have to do our part to make this situation as bearable as possible and more in denia that we have to live most of the year on ourselves …… .. let's help each other !!!

  8. Marta says:

It would be a good measure that will not disappear in Denia commercial life. A people without trade, without shops, restaurants etc. It is a dead town. And increased posters, rented sold, shows an unfavorable situation, which must be taken into account.

  9. Dianense says:

I totally agree, lowering the price of the premises would help entrepreneurs to open their businesses ... the truth is that some areas of Campos Street (and many other streets) are once again deserted for business and it is a pity.
