Benito Pastor manages to finish second in the Swedish Crossing

A great representation of the Club de Natación of the Real Club Náutico de Dénia was participating in the Valencian locality of Sueca, where they disputed two crossings of 2.500 meters in the Second Castelló Trophy, test with more than 50 years of history and scoring for the Water Championship Open of the Valencian Community. More swimmers from 295 participated in this test.

The highlight of the day was Benito Pastor, who came out of the water in second place in the general ranking so he climbed to the podium as the fastest fastest swimmer in the junior category. His time crossing the finish line was 36'58. For his part, Antonio Bonilla, teammate and category, finished in the 19º of the general and 8º in the junior category with a mark of 39'08.

The swimmer Teresa Irigoyen finished in sixth place in her category, being the 71 of the absolute swimming the 2.500 meters in 43'19 ". Pau Escutia made a mark of 42'42 ", being the 13 of its category and the 67 in the absolute. Hugo Martínez stopped the clock in 44'01 ", being the 13 of his category.

The other trip that was played that same morning on the beach of Perello-Les Palmeres de Sueca had a distance of 5.000 meters, was the ninth of the Spanish Open Water Championship in which it had a participation of 153 swimmers.

The Dianense Ana Terencia, of the Master category, took the podium as the first of her category with a brand of 1º38'53 ". The Master, Arturo Ruiz, was second in his category to complete the distance in a time of 1º19'21 ".

Antonio Albadalejo swam in 1º27'46 ", finishing in the tenth place in his category. Gabriel Sanfelix swam in 1º38'49 "finishing in the 19 position of his category.
