The dianense shipping company Baleària has signed an agreement with the Biscayan shipyard Construcciones Navales del Norte -LaNaval for the construction of a new ferry of 232,2 meters and a beam of 30,4, which will become the first passenger ferry powered by liquefied natural gas from the Mediterranean.
This smart, high-capacity vessel (1.600 passengers and 350 vehicles), will have on board with cabins, hergonomic seats, two restaurants, four bars (one outdoor), a children's area, two multipurpose theaters, one outdoor and one indoor, two levels with capacity for 1.200 people, two swimming pools, jacuzzis, gym, hairdresser, beauty salon, cinema and shops.
