Marina Health Directorate met with the heads of Service, middle management and the works council to announce the results for the year 2015, with a loss of 3.598.437 euros after tax.
Marina Health sources indicate that this negative result is mainly a consequence of changing regulations in May 2015, in terms of free choice, both in the field of primary care and the specialist. This change represents an increase of cost of 23 million euros from 2015 to 2024 inclusive.
In order to remedy the situation and return to economic viability, the steering committee, along with Heads of Service, middle managers and union representatives, is working on developing a Sustainable Development Plan, which will be released all professionals in the coming weeks.
Despite this, the company is committed to further progress in negotiating the new collective agreement and career.
The economic results have nothing to do with commitment and professional activity, which has been outstanding; Proof of this, the company has recently paid the corresponding 2015 incentives for meeting objectives.
