Lowers the IBI, trash and up comes a new rate: the rate of sewage

31 October 2012 - 00: 05

The city of Denia yesterday presented the modification of the tax ordinances for 2013, which will be approved in the extraordinary plenary to be held next Monday 5 of November. The councilman of finance, Vicente Chelet, wanted to make emphasis in the difference between tax (general collection on our goods) and rate (collection destined to maintain the cost of a determined service).

IBI floor a 5%

After the rise of 26% of property tax this year, the council will cut one 5 2013% in taxation. Thus, the tax rate drops from 1,05% to 1% in Dénia. According to Vicente Chelet, the double rise of IBI has helped keep up on payments to Suppliers alone.

In addition, the government team has announced that for 2013 the aid will be maintained to face the tax increase, whose application deadline ends today.

The garbage finally goes up 6 euros

The solid waste rate, for which each house pays 119 euros per year, goes up to the 125 euros due to the increase in the rates of the company that manages the transfer, transport and solid waste treatment plant of El Campello.

The rise, of the 25%, would increase the annual receipt in 14 euros, but the municipality will take charge of the 65% of the rise, so that each house will pay 6 euros more than this year.

New sewer rate

Councilman Environment, Juan Carlos Signes, reported the state "deficient and obsolete" of the sewerage of the city, that is not renewed for over 20 years ago. After a technical study of its Council, it has decided to create a new fee for maintenance of the sewerage network.

In 2013, each home that is connected to alcantarilado (26.500 44.000 from there in Dénia) will pay 3,5 euros in the water bill, which represents an increase of about 10% on the receipt.

Signes reported that finish making the sanitation network throughout the city (excluding sewerage works Rotes-Montgó) represents an approximate cost of 27 million euros, inasumibles for the moment, but that will study how to follow in coming years.

Aid for entrepreneurs

In 2013, people who start a new professional career will benefit from a reduction of 50% in the building permit for new business.

As for the public road occupation ordinance, whereby each bar or restaurant pays a variable amount -depending on its location and the season of the year- per table, this rate is substantially lowered and the occupation models are simplified.

It is the way to govern in Dénia… ..to look for solutions to be able to continue spending without rhyme or reason… ..while there is money for failures .. Moors and Christians… and feasts and taking pictures… .inaugurating sewers and sidewalk cuts…. .more than enough… .that if… there are people out there who do not pay taxes because they are not controlled… ..who parks where and how they want ...... who fills public spaces with tables and chairs ... but everything as always depends on what name appear on your ID

This is shameful!! With the taxes we pay so high in Denia, we only needed this. The fastest way to raise money is for the Denia Local Police to deign to sanction infractions, scandal and bottles in the street la mar, animal defecation, badly parked vehicles, ... That only fine depending on who it is.
