Dénia elaborates a Guide of Licensing Process in the absence of urban planning

15 September 2017 - 13: 50

The City of Dénia presented this Thursday, in an extraordinary session of the Council of Urbanism, the Guide to Licensing in Absence of Urban Planning, a document that will serve to "process and resolve licenses with clear and equitable criteria for all citizens", explained the Councilor of Territory, Mª Josep Ripoll.

This work has been carried out with the collaboration of the Ministry and the contributions of the construction sector of the city, and establishes a legal framework that will allow the resolution of planning licenses while Dénia has no planning.

It must be remembered that the ruling that led to the annulment of the Transitory Urban Regime (RUT) resulted in the revival of the General Plan of 1972. Due to the clear obsolescence of this planning and to avoid greater damages, the city council in resolved the suspension. Dénia is currently without planning, extraordinary and temporary situation that is being solved with the processing of new transitory urban regulations by the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory.

The guide will be available soon on the website of the City of Denia. María José Ripoll stressed that "We are very satisfied with the Processing Guide, which has been prepared in record time to have a minimum frame of reference for people and for the town hall itself". The councilor thanked the collaboration of the technicians of the Conselleria, "who have turned to work with us".
