The mayor of Territory and Housing, Mª José Ripoll, And several representatives of the construction sector have held a working meeting in order to unify criteria in the preparation of a guide for the granting of planning licenses, given the situation of being unplanned after overriding the general plan of 1972 , By the Consell, last July
The meeting was attended by Maria Josep Ripoll, technicians of the department of urbanism and representatives of the CEDMA And the college of architects. At the work meeting the City Council has informed the first draft of the general criteria guide and has received the suggestions of the representative of CEDMA and the College of Architects.
As reported by the councilor of territory and urban quality, Maria Josep Ripoll, "The municipal technicians have been in the last weeks in the elaboration of the draft of the guide. The department had as objective to listen to the opinion and to gather the suggestions of the sector before presenting the guide to the technicians of the Conselleria of Housing".
Ripoll has welcomed the meeting and stressed that "The government of Denia is aware of the complex situation that implies lack of urban planning, for this reason we have decided to work together with the sector a guide of general criteria for the granting of licenses until the urban norms that are approved by the Council of the Generalitat in the coming months or the General Structural Plan to be approved by the corporation before the end of the year".
The mayor also clarified that from the department will analyze case by case the situation of all licenses that had been requested prior to the special situation that the municipality lives in urban planning.
The councilor of territory has agreed at the meeting to hold a new working session with representatives of the construction sector, following the meeting in the coming weeks in the City of Dénia with the technicians of the Department of Housing.
