significantly increases the occupation in camp sites during the second half of July

The second half of July has again left very positive tourist occupation figures in Dénia. Compared to the same period last year, all sectors (hotels, campsites and tourist rental accommodation) have increased, but the most notable increase has been in the city's campsites. In the second half of July the occupation has increased by 22% with respect to 2015, and it is expected that in the first half of August that occupation figure will reach 91%, an 30% more than last year.

One thing to keep in mind one of the best summers on record in the capital of the region in recent years, with 80% occupancy on average in the second half of July and a forecast that borders on 90% for first half of August, the busiest tourist influx in the city.

These data comes from an estimate by the Department of Tourism Dénia, which has also been known figures of visitors who daily pass through the three tourist offices in the city (Oculista Buigues, Plaza del Consell and Port).

During the second half of July have spent a total of 7885 people looking for information offices, the central office, at Oculista Buigues Square, most visitors received (3722), followed by the Plaza del Consell (2180 ) and Port (1983).

At the national level, the Community of Madrid is the one with the most visitors to Dénia, an 46,2% of the influx, followed by the rest of the Valencian Community (17,7%), local residents (6,4%), Castilla León (5,3%) and Basque Country (4,9%).
