Since September 2019, when a DANA was accompanied by a tornado that devastated the sports complex, the sports complex's pavilion was unusable. Much of one of its facades was blown up, damaging the roof, the interior court and part of the exterior basketball court. Therefore, it had to be closed from that moment.
The teams that trained and competed there had to be relocated to different fields and municipalities, waiting for a repair that was extended due to lack of agreement between the City Council and the insurance company.
Today, more than a year later, this odyssey has finally ended. The pavilion already shows its best side with the repair of the west facade and the interior pavement. Additionally, the outdoor basketball court has been renovated. All this at a cost of 200.000 euros.
