The II Marina Dénia Wine Fair starts

29 2022 April - 14: 26

This morning the II Wine Fair started Marina Dénia that has opened its doors for professionals in the sector. "In addition to all the wineries that have wanted to participate, this year we wanted to publicize the artisan products that identify us in a region in which gastronomy brings us so much," said Gabriel Martínez, director of Marina Dénia.

During the morning, a presentation by Santos Ruiz, manager of the DO Rice for 22 years and gastronomic critic, took place. Ruiz has assured that “coming to Dénia is always a pleasure since it is the great gastronomic destination of this country. Not only because there are some very good restaurants, but because there are very good restaurants of all styles and levels. Here you can recommend restaurants from 300 euros to 30 euros and, in all of them, you will find fresh products and good cuisine. That range of different restaurants, different types of cuisine and different costs, with such quality, there is no other destination in all of Spain that has it”.

Regarding the Wine Fair, he said that “it seems incredible to me to value the marina itself, as a gastronomic destination in itself. The truth is that I've already had a couple of wines and the sun is a pleasure, the Montgo, the boats, places the gastronomic destination in a hedonistic space, where you can't be anything but happy”. In his speech, Santos Ruiz, commented that rice is culture, identity, personality and it is the Valencian Community and a lot of Dénia and Alicante. "Here the rice began to be turned, to go from the domestic sphere to the gastronomic experience of the hospitality industry, which is, in the end, where trends are created."

This afternoon, at 18:XNUMX p.m., the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, will inaugurate the II Wine Fair that opens to the public until 22 pm.
