The Real Club Nautico de Denia was yesterday the scene of the presentation and the official start of the campaign this summer maritime safety driven by the Maritime Authority of Alicante.
On the day of presentation was attended by fifty schoolchildren, who helped ignite these flares and smoke bombs relief in order to experience and learn about the behavior before a problem at sea authorities.
During the morning a helicopter flew over the area and performed a simulated rescue from one of the larger boats Rescue located in the basin of the port of Denia. At this show two boats sea rescue a maritime service of the Civil Guard, the GEAS and rescue teams conducted a demonstration of all rescue tools to a maritime incident joined.
Rescue performs the largest number of performances during the summer pleasure boats, followed emergencies underwater activities and recreational activities (jet skis, water sports, etc) that develop on the coast of Valencia.
The presentation of the campaign was attended by Alberto Martínez Díaz, deputy representative government; Juan Alcazar, sea captain in the province of Alicante; Javier Yhon, Naval Commander of Alicante; José Carlos Martínez Losada, Deputy Delegate of Defense in the province of Alicante; Antonio Lázaro Gavaldón, Colonel head of the Civil Guard in the province of Alicante, Javier Ygarza Fernandez, Councilor for Citizen Security and Mobility; Sisco Signes, Councilman Services, Agriculture and Fisheries; and Antonio Padial, Head of CCS tower of Valencia.
