The heavy rains that began around 23:00 p.m. on Sunday in Dénia, and which have lasted until early Monday, have required the continuous intervention of the firefighters in the term. They have been laborious hours to cover the multiple incidents in the capital of the Marina Alta.
According to the Provincial Firefighters Consortium, from 23:00 yesterday until 07:15 this morning they have had to intervene eleven times in Dénia, especially concentrated notices between 23:00 and 00:30, during the first episode torrential rain. Most of these interventions were for draining the basements of houses and businesses, but they also collaborated in reinforcing the safety of public roads, especially in those streets whose accumulation of water impeded circulation.
