The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports has decided to postpone the unified certification tests (PUC) of languages of the official language schools (EOI) and those of the Qualifying Board of Coneixements de Valencià (JQCV) called for May and June.
Once the conditions of the de-escalation of the confinement and the protocols established by the health authorities are known, a new test schedule can be assessed.
The JQCV tests were planned to take place from May 30 to June 13. On May 30 1st day of C1; on June 6 the B1 level, and on June 13 the A2 and the 2nd day of the C1. The declaration of the state of alarm on March 14 and the suspension of the administrative procedures that are not of the greatest need forced the postponement of the registration procedure that was originally planned from March 25 to April 8.
Once the conditions of the progressive de-escalation of confinement are known, and when the health authorities determine it, the new terms and conditions for the electronic registration in the tests will be announced on the JQCV website (see here).
In the case of the PUC of the official language schools, they were scheduled to take place between May 28 and June 22. The registration period had already concluded before the declaration of the state of alarm.
The provisional list of admitted adds 32.275 applicants, both official and free, in the entire EOI network of the Valencian educational system, which is made up of 24 schools and 49 sections distributed by 67 municipalities that offer a total of 17 languages.
The health emergency situation requires adapting the deadline for allegations to the provisional list of admitted. At the moment in which a period of allegations can be established, the General Directorate for Language Policy and Multilingualism Management will notify by email the beginning of the period of allegations to the users registered in the PUC. Once the period of allegations has ended, the final list of people admitted or excluded from the 2020 certification test will be published within five calendar days on the website of the center exclusively.
EOI distance training
It must be remembered that the students enrolled in the EOI of Education of the Generalitat, around 60.000 people, are receiving distance training by the network's teachers, more than 700 teachers, through the AULES platform and the WebEx videoconferences of the 'MULAN' plan.
AULES is designed so that teachers can share materials with students. In addition, through the WebEx videoconferencing platform, 275 virtual classrooms have been created in the EOIs, to accompany the dynamics of the teachers' work and to have better communication with the EOI students.
