The President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, announced this decision a few minutes ago "for responsibility" to safeguard the health of citizens from the risk of the coronavirus pandemic. He has done so after following the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
It is not yet known when they will take place, "when the situation allows", but it seems that the festivities will be postponed throughout the Community, as well as the Magdalena Festivities. A historical fact without a doubt.
At the moment it is unknown how it will affect the celebration in Dénia although the decision is for the entire Valencian Community.
