The Dianense triathlete, Andrea FernándezRunners-up Spain was proclaimed junior category with his team in the Cidade Lugo Fluvial Sprint Triathlon mode. A championship that was held in Águilas in which took part more than 50 participants in this category.
The start of the race was on the beach where the first segment faced triathletes swimming in rough seas with large waves, which hardened much this sector 750 meters. The Dianense things did not go well since he left the sea in the position after losing 22 1 45 minute and seconds from the first classification.
He faced raring segment where the second rider had to cover 21 kilometers on a circuit 7 kilometers the athletes got three laps. Andrea Fernández helped with his club since the Cidade Lugo Fluvial to get second place in the classification by clubs. His team participated six triathletes and Andrea was the third best of that group. It was a very positive day for the club as the national runner-up team, the Galician added a first place finish by Cecilia Santamaría.
The next goal that has marked the Dianense who is attending second degree in the High Performance Center Infanta Cristina de Los Narejos (Murcia) is to participate in the French league club part of the team AS Muret Triathlon, the next 3 of July.
