Amparo and Neus end their year of major falleras with an emotional farewell

The major falleras of Dénia 2019, Amparo Petrie and Neus Suárez, have completed the last page of their reign. The event began with a video starring the major falleras and their courts of honor that took place Les Rotes y the castle Dénia, in which Amparo and Neus found a treasure full of memories.

The presenter of the act, Anna Sobrecases, gave the floor to José Vicente Benavente, who also said goodbye to the presidency of the Local Board Fallera of Dénia after two years of mandate. Next, the courts of honor of Amparo and Neus took the stage to receive the major falleras, which accompanied by the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, they received a warm welcome from the public that congregated there.

Grimalt took the floor to thank Amparo and Neus and the work they have done during this year as the maximum representatives of Dénia's faults, and he wished them to continue to be linked to the festival whose history they are already part of.

The charges of the eleven Dénia commissions of the year 2019 were going up on stage to pay homage to the major falleras. All of them contributed balloons of the colors of each commission and photographs that they placed in separate frames.

The representatives of the faults Diana and Port Rotes, commissions of Neus and Amparo respectively, addressed a few words of affection to their falleras, who return home after an intense year.

As every year, the farewell gala had a place to honor the artists who this year have won the first prizes, in large and children, of the two sections of the failures of Dénia.
