Ten students of IES 3 number of Dénia have been selected to participate next week in the International Tourism Fair, FITUR, which is held in Madrid from 17 to 21 in January. The students have a mission: to spread sustainable tourism in the exhibition space of the city.
The students, dressed in the appropriate clothing, will distribute plants grown in the institute with the aim of disseminating the riches of Dénia and the Marina Alta, and attract potential tourists. Thanks to this experience, students will put into practice the knowledge acquired in the Customer Service module and learn first-hand about the business world.
This initiative has the support of Dénia and the City of Pego, since it is the continuation of the one that started in the Pla del Miserà de Pego, where they learned to manage a camping area and an agency of tourist routes and a sports store ( Ecodénia).
