January 26 from 2017 - 15: 04

The Spanish navigator, Álex Pella, settled in Dénia this morning has arrived along with the rest of his crew from the "IDEC Sport"The port of Brest, in Brittany. Time to go around the world has been 40 days, hours 23, 30 30 minutes and seconds. That is, has improved in 4 day, 14 hours, 12 23 minutes and seconds the time in 2012, marked the boat, "Banque Populaire V".

Thus, Pella has achieved "Julio Verne Trophy", a prize, which is awarded to sailors who manage to perform the fastest maritime circumnavigation of the world under sail, with any type of vessel. The trophy was awarded for the first time, to the first ship that went around the world in less than 80 days The name of the prize is a reference to Julio Verne's novel "Around the World in Eighty Days", in which Phileas Fogg crosses the planet in 80 days.

The joy of the whole expedition has been enormous, and nothing else to land Pella commented that "This has been an incredible planetary surfed. Super intense navigation 40 days". Pella, he added that "nobody, not ourselves thought we could do this Stratospheric time. Remember that almost half the time imagined by Julio Verne".

The Spanish navigator ensures that the key "was in the South, to hold out that long before the storm, if I remember correctly, about 11 / 12 days". Pella a joy shared with all his companions for those who had words of praise, "I'm really proud of my teammates, having been part of such a good group and that Francis trust me to do this from the outset; just that, breaking the record back to the world"Said an excited Alex Pella.

Concerning the boat, the navigator said, "the "Idec Sport" is a fantastic boat, is a barcazo, who likes to run and we made easy".
