Next Saturday, May 26, the dance will take the streets of Dénia in a novel proposal, Dansant the Navy.
This proposal, organized by the Department of Culture of the Ajuntament de Dénia, in collaboration with the association Fragile Dance, will gather in Dénia seven companies of the Valencian Community that will take the Municipal Market, the playground of the street La Vía, the Plaza de la Constitució and the Calle Marques de Campo.

The first one is Joy, the Hymn to Joy - 9ª Beethoven's Symphony. Arantxa Buenrostro, Aina Durá, Nuria Jaque, Teresa Llorens, Paula Pastor, Alba Pérez, Nuria Ricart and Claudia Signes will represent a choreography that aims to become a canticle to fraternity, to freedom, to friendship so questioned in our days.
It is one of the most transcendental, important and popular works of music and art that has inspired a colorful and animated staging making the color of the costumes and the strength of its dance all that it represents; since in 1972, in an adaptation of Herbert von Karajan, it became the anthem of the European Union and also recorded in the Unesco World Memory, where it is part of the spiritual heritage of humanity.
The second choreography is Reel around the sun (Riverdance), one of the first choreographies that was created at the same time as the birth of the school back in the 99 year, where the school was already doing the miscegenation in music and dance and the standard bearer of its artistic philosophy.
Conceived as a piece of Irish folklore, the public will enjoy it with a mixture of that flolklore and their own Mediterranean roots. Teresa Cerdá, Nuria Jaque, Susana Nuez, Alba Pérez, Andrea Pons, Nuria Ricart, Amor Rodríguez and Carlota Woodward participate.
