This Sunday 14 of April was celebrated the spring game of La Sella Golf Academy, a game that coincides with the end of the second quarter of the Municipal Golf School, La Sella Golf Academy. In all the team games he was very competitive and everything was decided in one or two strokes. Up to 52 children participated and enjoyed a magnificent day of sun and golf.
This game was played in three different categories. Two teams, the smallest ones in the pitch & putt from the La Sella driving range, some older ones played in teams in five holes through the Llebeig field and, individually, 9 holes in the mestral field.
Playing for teams, in a sport in which the vast majority of tournaments are played individually, aims to promote friendship and camaraderie. It was very disputed, with a draw or a minimum victory of a blow by the winning teams with respect to their pursuers.
The day accompanied and at the end the awards ceremony was done in the same practice field. The best classifieds were: In the 9 hole category: Albert Kibblewhite with 27 points, the second place was for Ben Gilchrist with 26 points and third place was for Fabio Penge with 25 points.
