Last Saturday, July 17, the Dénia Corre athlete, Aida Pérez, was the best when winning the Montpius Skyrace test that took place in Vielha. Aida completed the 24 kilometer test with a time of 3:04:54. Montpius Skyrace crowns 4 peaks of more than 2.000 meters, with impressive ridges, and then descends to Vielha again. The 2.270-meter Montpius peak marks the highest point of the race and has 1.700 meters of positive elevation gain.
On the other hand, the athletes of Dénia Corre were also representing the club in several mountain races. On the weekend of July 9 to 11, several tests were held in Valle de Arán by UTMB in which Moha Rida and José Miguel Gómez participated. Moha did it in the Sky Baqueira Beret test, in a distance of 15 kilometers and made a time of 1:31:10 and Gómez ran in the Caminos de Her test of 105 kilometers that finished with a time of 17:35:20.
On the other hand, in Oliva the first edition of a solidarity trail was held. With a 12-kilometer route, they represented the Dianense club, Carlos Sánchez stopping the clock at 01:04:35 and Martí Sifré with a time of 01:20:06.
