AEMET puts Dénia on yellow alert this Friday

January 09 from 2020 - 09: 54

The State Meteorological Agency marks its first yellow alert of the year for the entire north coast of Alicante. After a few Christmas relatively calm, where they have enjoyed a climate typical of the season, some days even hotter than usual, and benevolent skies, some adverse phenomenon appears again in the region that forces the agency to put the area on alert due to the possible risk it may pose.

According to the AEMET, the tomorrow's day will be marked by rain copious that will last the whole day from the first hour of the morning, acquiring greater force from noon on Friday. This will be accompanied by lower temperatures whose minimum will reach the thermometers at 5º. All this will cause that you can even see snow from 1200 meters in the province.

However, if the agency has decreed the yellow alert It is not because of this, but because of the strong wind that, although it is true, will not be felt too much on land, at sea it will force extreme precautions. Exactly, AEMET warns of the northeast wind of force 7 on the coast, from 10 am on Friday until midnight.
