The second asphalting phase of the Cementeri camí of Dénia are very close to begin. This Wednesday, the Local Government Board has approved, at the proposal of the Contracting Committee, the award of the works to the company Guerola Transer SLU.
The financing of the works will be made through the subsidy granted to the city council by the Provincial Council of Alicante within the financially sustainable investment plan of the provincial institution for the 2017 annuity.
Affected stretch
The action will be carried out in the section between the El Molí tobacconist and the La Xara junction and will basically consist of preparing and rehabilitating the aforementioned section, which currently presents a poor state due to the large amount of traffic that supports, with the pavement full of potholes and old ditches and some of the margins in bad conditions, so it is considered necessary to resurface and provide the road with the necessary security for the normal transit of vehicles. It also includes the improvement of access to the Fallas ships adjoining the eco-park, since the entrance is not paved and is in poor condition.
