The school of La Xara tests the COVID protocol after a positive parent

10 September 2020 - 13: 05

This week has started the most delicate school year in decades. The full health crisis, children across the country have returned to classes between strong security measures to prevent outbreaks in classrooms.

However, as has been insisted from the Ministry, nothing is infallible today and it is inevitable that there may be specific cases in schools. This is what happened at CIP La Xara just three days after the school calendar started.

The La Xara school has faced the first positive case near the classrooms, so it has had to put the COVID protocol to the test when there are still many things in the air.

One of the parents of two students tested positive for coronavirus last Wednesday, so the school began the protocol among many doubts.

Initially, the groups of these two students were urged to be quarantined so that they would stay at home until they could take the tests. Finally, once the procedure has been clarified, only the children of this father and, according to the CIP La Xara, about four students who would have been in contact with them remain isolated.

After a few moments of confusion, everything continues normally, or with a new normality, at school, where most of the students have returned to class except for those already mentioned, who wait at home for the necessary tests to be carried out. .
