On Wednesday morning the new road between the Camí de la Bota and the Viveros Municipales was opened to traffic, with the objective of relieving traffic in the Negras de Dénia.
The improvement works started in January and have had a final cost of 125.840 euros. In this way, the connection made with the polygon Industrial de Madrigueres through the Camí Partida Negrals is now safer, with two directions for vehicles and sidewalks for pedestrians.
The works consisted in the clearing of the land, including the removal of trees, the demolition of enclosures, pavements and the dismantling of the nursery greenhouse, earthworks up to platform level, the execution of the rain collector, including the demolition of the current one, the execution of the public lighting network, the construction of pavements, the paving of the road and the placement of horizontal and vertical road signs, including the modification of the signaling of the current road to adapt it to the new rearrangement of traffic.
