Once again, the participatory budgets in Dénia are launched, a mechanism by which citizens propose and vote on the actions that they consider to be priorities that the City of Dénia executes in its 2020 investment budget.
In this third edition, the budget line has been increased, going from the 200.000 € of the previous calls to the 250.000 € foreseen for the 2020. "This increase responds to the commitment of the government team to increase the allocation of participatory budgets at an annual 25%, as we gather in our government program", has pointed out the councilor for Citizen Participation, Pepe Doménech.
From now until mid-October, all people, regardless of age or place of residence, can present their ideas to improve Dénia. These proposals must be referred to investments, that is, new works, improvements or maintenance of existing ones or purchases of permanent materials: sidewalks, lighting, parks, containers, signs ...
Proposals can be submitted electronically to http://participadenia.es/va or in person at the Espace de Participació de Les Portelles, on Calle del Pare Pere, 17, from 9 to 14 hours.
The proposals presented will be studied by the municipal technicians to assess the feasibility and estimated budget for execution. Those that meet the conditions of viability will be voted by the citizens. The most voted proposals in each neighborhood will be those that the municipality commits to execute during 2020.
