The call for the CEDMA Awards is open

January 28 from 2022 - 14: 07

The Business Circle of the Marina Alta has opened the period for the presentation of candidatures to the XIV Awards CEDMA, which will be delivered during a gala on March 3 from 19:XNUMX p.m. at the Dénia Marriott Hotel.

The president of CEDMA, Benito Mestre, has indicated that the gala will be in person, although -obviously- all the sanitary measures that are in force at the time of its celebration will be adopted, such as a COVID passport, masks or capacity.

As the main novelty, this year there will be a live performance by the musical group Soulomonics, a Soul and R&B band rooted in the Marina Alta. The presenter of the event will be the journalist Lumi Requejo, who currently works at Radio Pego.

As indicated by the president, this awards ceremony is designed to be an agile act, in which the award-winning companies will be given prominence and in which businessmen "will be able to enjoy, share and celebrate these awards after a year of hiatus ”.

All companies belonging to the different associations of the Federation, more than 1.200 in the region, that have not received the award in past editions, are called to submit applications. As always, aspects such as the company's history, its commitment to the territory or its projection will be taken into account
national/international.

They have a deadline until February 14. That same week the members of the jury will meet, who will publicly announce this year's winners at a press conference to be held on the same day as the deliberation.

Mestre has trusted that the health situation at the time of the gala is much better than it is now. “The figures that are handled are encouraging, and that the incidence is reduced in the coming weeks will also be very positive for the regional economy”, said the president, who has indicated that this week he had a meeting with the new manager of the Department of Health of Dénia, Javier Palau.

Along with Mestre, he has also appeared Sonja Dietz, member of the executive committee of CEDMA, who wanted to highlight that there is much hope in 2022 as the year of the recovery of Tourism. “We see a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of effort from people in the sector to carry out initiatives such as Tourist Focus, and if we all move in the right direction, we expect a good year”, he assured.
