The celebration of the Blood Donation Marathon of Denia is already a tradition, but so is year after year, breaking records. This year the figures speak for themselves: a total of 280 donors were donated, of which 230 was able to donate, adding a total of 50 new donors, one of the most positive data this year.
Last year this same appointment got 241 people presented and 213 blood units obtained, with which they could cover the needs of blood for a day of all the hospitals of the province.
The 9º Marathon of Blood of Dénia was celebrated this Thursday in the Social Center. Organized by the Transfusion Center of Alicante and the City Council of Dénia, it had the collaboration of the Department of Health of Dénia, the local assembly of the Red Cross, the Fundació Baleària, Appliances Pineda, Radio Dénia Ser and Canfali Marina Alta.
