The 95% of the Socialists of the Marina Alta approve the new executive presided over by Óscar Mengual

Last Saturday the Regional Congress of the Socialists of the Marina Alta that served to approve the new executive who will lead Óscar Mengual. The 95% of the delegates that attended voted in favor of this new executive (only two people voted in blank), a list "formed according to the characteristics of profiles determined to make it functional".

The dianense Jaime Sendra will be the president, accompanied by the Vergelina Pepa Pons, one of the oldest socialist militants in the region. The right hand of Mengual, holding the Secretariat of Organization, will be María María Femenia calpina. Calp will also be represented by Ascen López, in the Secretariat of Citizen Participation and Transparency; and Marco Bittner, Secretary of the Environment and Natural Parks. Xaló, with Josette Ruso and Marbel Avellà obtains representation in the Secretariats of Occupation and Regional Reactivation.

Xàbia will have three representatives with Montserrat Villaverde, Cesc Camprubí and Esperanza Morais occupying the secretaries of Equality, Tourism and Studies and Programs, respectively; as well as Dénia, since Paco Roselló, Sandra Gertrudix and Ángel Serrano will also form part of the team and will be the secretaries of Electoral Action, Business and Industry and Communication. The list is completed by Francesc Antoni Giner, from Ondar, Secretary of Sustainable Urban Planning, Infrastructures and Water Resources; Manolo Juan, from Benise, Secretary of Culture and Traditions; Héctor Morales, from Teula, Secretary of Health and Social Welfare; the pedreguera Rosa Avellà, secretary of Youth; and Joanvi Fornés de La Xara, Secretary of Education and Sports.

The new secretary general of the PSPV-PSOE in the Marina Alta, Óscar Mengual, influenced his first speech as such in "continue with the empowerment of militancy and reconnect the party with the street". Mengual also addressed a few words to his rival in the primaries, Pegolino Enrique Moll, highlighting the good harmony between the two and promising that "We are going to leave the skin so that in two years Pego will have the best possible mayor".
