Jesús Pobre has everything ready for the big day of L'Escaldà de la Pansa which will be held next Sunday 30 August in the great Senyoret riurau. This year the EATIM will again bring 700 kilos of muscatel grapes and twelve new hurdles ordered to Vicente Caselles García to comply with a tradition that aspires to be declared a Property of Intangible Cultural Interest.
And this year the Escaldà de la Pansa will be more early riser than ever: at the 7: 30 in the morning the boiler ritual will start, and half an hour later will start the blanching of the Muscat until the 10 in the morning, all for Avoid high temperatures while being faithful to tradition.
From then on, traditional activities will take place around l'Escaldà: workshop of Canyissos, Workshop Can y dances in charge of Grup de Danses Jesus Pobre, and of course the exposure of elements of l'Escaldà, sale of muscat and passes that has prepared the Association of Neighbors and the Association Riurau Vius, counting the EATIM again with the support of the Provincial Council of Alicante.
Following with the interest that this patrimonial and festive act constitutes a platform for the Ruta dels Riuraus and the companies linked to the route, this year will be the Celler de la Marina of Gata de Gorgos who makes a special tasting of mistela, and other products linked to Moscatel, there will be a lunch bar organized by the Fiesta Committee 2016 of Jesús Pobre.
Mayor EATIM, Javier Scotto, said in the presentation of the party that "L'Escaldà enriches our region as muscat to the Mediterranean landscape, constituting a unique intangible asset of Valencian heritage."
Party program in honor of the poet Ben Al-Labanna
L'Escaldà de la pansa is part of the programming of parties in honor of the poet Ben Al-Labanna starting today Thursday 6 of August with the route Cuban Tres Guitar Molins, Three Castles that will depart at 20 hours from the riurau.
On Friday 7 will take place in the riurau literary concert in honor of the poet directed by Francesc Esteve from the 22: 30 hours.
The celebrations will resume on Friday 21 of August with the Festa del Farolet, from the 18: 30 hours with manufacturing workshop farolets, popular dinner at the 21: 30 hours and the traditional Ball of Farolet with music by Paco Gat starting at 23 hours.
On Friday 28 the concert will be held Sis Veus per to the Poet at the 22: 30 hours, with a musical tribute to Vicent Andrés Estellés by Eva Dénia, Lola Ledesma, Merxe Martínez, Maria Amparo Hurtado, Patxi Ferrer and Maribel Crespo.
