19 October 2012 - 10: 33

The hacienda mayor of the city of Dénia reported a new regulation that will mark the 2013 budgets of the city: a roof of 50 has been marked millions of euros of ceiling of non-financial expenditure. This measure, which aims to reduce the debt of the consistories, will be approved in plenary next Thursday for the month of October.

In this way, Dénia's budget can not exceed 50 million euros for its expenses, excluding financial expenses, which in 2012 amounted to almost 1,5 million euros to which the 3,5 must be added in financial liabilities.

The Law of Budgetary Stability establishes that the city council can not have deficit, reason why income and expenses must be balanced. In addition, although the income exceeds the figures of expenditures, the municipality must allocate this surplus to the payment of the debt and not the current expenditure.
