Last Sunday, Activitats Family went hiking with a tour of the heritage trees in Denia and surroundings.
Attendees, who made the route in private cars, told with an environmental guide said the basic characteristics of each tree from the information collected in the municipal catalog of monumental trees.
The route ran through the ficus de l'Alqueria de Serra; the oak of Les Cassianes; Torrecremada Park, with special mention of the yuccas and magnolias; olive flood; carob of Xara and cypresses of the cemetery of Jesus Pobre, and ended in an ancient olive tree in the town of Xabia.
