The "XIX Canal Cup"The list of registrants is already closed, 25 boats will take off on Saturday at 11 am from Dénia towards San Antonio to travel 56 miles that separate them into a single test.
The committee will hold two classifications, RI and ORC, in which the first three of each group will be awarded and the first in real time. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 11 in October starting at 14 hours once the General classifications have been published.
Among the possible winners will be the following boats; "Café del Mar","Isabella","Blue Jack","Three Escualo","Optimmum"And"New Sisters", Some of them among the first classified of the previous year.
The "Canal Cup"It is one of the highest regattas in the Mediterranean created from underwater archaeological finds that demonstrated trade between the Pitiusas Islands and Dénia. It is one of the most established and beloved regattas by the Real Club Nautico Denia, at the same time that it has a large number of participants.
The nineteenth edition is organized by the Dianense club, with the collaboration of the Club Nautico San Antonio "It is Náutic", The Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community and the Balearic Sailing Federation.
The good experience of the last few years has forced the Dianense club to repeat and re-team with San Antonio de Ibiza, the town that offers its facilities, moorings and services to all the sailors of the race.
