La green Way It is a project Department of Environment Dénia came true. Directed to all audiences has come to our city to escape from stress providing us, in daily doses, noise and traffic pollution.
Throughout 6,5 km of railway line that circulated from Denia to Gandia until 1974, native species coexist with rest areas, viewpoints and sport-enabled sites. And thanks to the collaboration of Vicent Ferrer i Hermenegildo, Author of the book Of Tramway rail transport: Caracaixent line-Denia, we can enjoy informative panels that detail the history of the railway that originally circulated in this way.
