Vicente Grimalt, the new mayor of the city of Dénia made a courtesy visit to the facilities of the Real Club Nautico Denia last Thursday. Jaime Portolés, president of the club, received Grimalt to talk about all the activities, services and opportunities offered by the Dianense club, as well as the extensive calendar of sporting events and the Municipal School of Water Sports.
Vicente Grimalt showed great interest in the club, its operation and activities. As mayor of the city, he wanted to know the club and its relationship with tourism Dénia. Jaime Portolés, after meeting with the new mayor said that proved to be a "successful meeting in which Vicente showed great willingness and being an accessible mayor". The club has renewed the agreement with the city of Denia and work together to make a better Dénia.
